Cost is the most common reason someone never starts. This fund exists to take that reason off the table for eligible learners, community cohorts, and nonprofit staff. It is on the roadmap and not yet funded.

The problem
Practical AI education is affordable to people who already have room in the budget, which means the people who would gain the most from it are usually the ones who cannot start.

Why this one is listed before it exists
Because it is the constraint on almost everything else. Workshops can be hosted. Newsletters can be written. But a person who cannot afford a training seat stays outside the door no matter how good the rest of the pathway is. Naming the gap publicly is how it gets filled.
What we will not do
We will not make claims about how a gift is treated at tax time, because our legal and governance work is not finished. Our donations and legal status page says plainly where that stands. We will not collect money through a form on this website. And we will not tell any learner that funding is coming when we do not know that it is.
What moves it from planned to open
Sponsors, and rules written down first. When there is enough support to fund a real group of seats and eligibility is clear on paper, applications open and this page changes. Until then it stays marked as planned.

Common questions
Can I apply right now?
Not yet. This is on the roadmap and the fund is not in place. You can tell us what you need today, and you will be among the first we contact when there is something real to apply for.
Is this a scholarship?
We avoid that word because it suggests something guaranteed and formal. This is support toward the cost of training, and we cannot promise funding to anyone.
Can I donate online?
No. We are not set up to accept online donations and we make no claims about tax-deductibility. Sponsorships are arranged by talking with us directly.
What decides who gets help?
Written eligibility rules, published before applications open, so nobody is guessing. We would rather take longer to get that right than hand out support on a hunch.
How will you show where the money went?
Plainly, and to the people who gave it. Stewardship is not a page on a website, it is telling a sponsor exactly what their support paid for.
What would move this forward fastest?
Sponsors willing to fund the first seats, and a clear enough set of rules that we can open applications without wasting anyone's time.
