Who we are
About iGrowth Foundation
We fund practical AI education, help nonprofits and community groups use these tools responsibly, and stay with people after the training ends. This page explains what we believe and how the work is organized.
Mission and vision
Our mission
To expand access to practical AI education, to help nonprofits and community groups put useful technology to work, and to build a pathway that carries trained people from learning into real opportunity. Training should lead somewhere.
Our vision
A community where anyone willing to learn can get the training, show what they can do, and be introduced to someone who needs exactly that. Where the person who finishes a program becomes the person who mentors the next one.
The problem we exist to address
Three things keep good people out of good training. The first is cost. When a course costs more than a month of groceries, it does not matter how useful it is. The second is confidence. Plenty of capable adults have decided, quietly and years ago, that technology is for other people, and no catalog page is going to talk them out of that. The third is distance, which is partly miles and partly whether the session happens somewhere you already trust, at a time you are not working.
Then there is the fourth problem, and it is the one that gets ignored. Training that leads nowhere. Someone scrapes together the money and the nerve, finishes the course, and walks out with a certificate and no idea who to show it to. Nothing in their week changes. That experience does more damage than never starting, because now they have proof that trying does not pay.
So we work on all four. We help with the cost of learning. We teach in plain language so confidence has room to grow. We work with organizations people already know, in places they can reach. And we treat what happens after the training as part of the job, not somebody else's problem.
How the three lanes fit together
This foundation does not stand alone. It is one of three connected efforts, and knowing how they divide the work explains a lot about what we do and do not take on.
Learn — LifeQuest AI. Practical AI education for beginners, seniors, families, career changers, educators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. This is where the teaching happens: the courses, the curriculum, the beginner-friendly explanations.
Implement — GrowthPoint TechAI. Microsoft 365, workflow, automation, and AI implementation for businesses and organizations. This is the professional services side, working with organizations that need the work done properly.
Impact — iGrowth Foundation. Funding access to AI education, helping nonprofits use AI responsibly, and creating pathways from training to meaningful work and service. That is this organization. We do not sell the training and we do not sell the consulting. We help pay for access to learning, we bring plain-language training to community groups, and we work on the connection between finishing a program and finding somewhere to use it.
Hub — AskPops.ai. Roger's personal brand, and the front door that routes people to all three lanes. If you are not sure which lane you need, that is the door to knock on first.
The short version: one place teaches it, one place implements it, and this one makes sure the people who need it most can get to it and have somewhere to take it afterward.
The bigger picture
Three Lanes, One Mission
Learn it, put it to work, and open the door for someone else. Three ventures, one purpose, connected through Roger's personal brand hub.

What we hold to
Our values
Nine of them. They are here so you can hold us to them, not to decorate the page.
Dignity
Nobody gets talked down to. Not about technology, not about where they are starting from.
Access
Cost, confidence, and distance keep good people out of good training. We work on all three.
Practical learning
If you cannot use it on Monday morning, we taught it wrong.
Service
The point is helping people and the organizations that serve them. Everything else is detail.
Stewardship
Money and time given to this work get used carefully and accounted for plainly.
Personal growth
Skills matter. So do confidence, communication, and knowing your own worth.
Inclusion
Every age, every background, every starting point. People of every faith and none.
Responsible technology
We teach the limits and the risks alongside the uses. Honestly.
Measurable opportunity
Training should lead somewhere, and we should be able to show where.

The person behind it
From the founder
I did not come to this from the nonprofit world. I came to it from thirty-plus years of sitting beside people while they learned to do something on a computer that they were sure they could not do. Different decades, different tools, same moment every time: the shoulders drop, the questions get bolder, and somebody who walked in apologizing walks out asking what else they can try.
AI made that moment matter more. The tools are genuinely useful now for ordinary work, and they do not require you to be technical. What they require is somebody willing to explain them without jargon and without making you feel slow for asking twice. That part has not changed in thirty years, and it is still the part most training skips.
The other thing I have learned is that skills alone do not change a person's situation. Access does. Someone has to help with the cost, and someone has to make an introduction. In my own career, both of those came from people who had no particular reason to bother with me. This foundation is my attempt to be that for other people, in an organized way, so it does not depend on luck.
We are early. I would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. But the direction is not in question. Training should lead somewhere. If you want to learn, or you can help someone else learn, I would like to hear from you.
