Why this is the first post

Most organizations open with a page full of things they intend to do, written as though they already did them. I have been on the receiving end of that, and so have you. It wastes people’s time.

So here is the plain version. iGrowth Foundation exists, the website is up, and I am having conversations. That is a real starting point, and it is a smaller one than a launch announcement usually implies.

Training should lead somewhere. That is the belief this whole thing is built on. A class that ends and drops you back exactly where you started is not much of a favor. The work of this foundation is the part after the class: showing what you can do, and getting connected to someone who needs it.

What is running today

The Personal Growth and Opportunity Newsletter. That is it. One program, and it is free.

It is not a placeholder. Every issue carries a real story or a piece of honest progress, one workshop or opportunity worth knowing about, a handful of personal-development or AI-education resources, and openings for volunteering, training, partnership, or work. If an issue has nothing worth putting in it, we skip the issue instead of padding it.

If you only do one thing after reading this, join the newsletter. It is the thread that runs through everything else.

What is being built

The programs page carries a status label on every single program, and those labels mean exactly what they say. Some are in development. Some are taking names on an interest list. Some are planned, which means honest intention and no date.

What moves a program from planned to scheduled is almost never a good idea. It is a room, a sponsor, a mentor with a couple of free hours, or a group of people who say they will show up. That is the real bottleneck, and it is a bottleneck ordinary people can break.

What does not exist yet

  • No workshops delivered. The impact page has no numbers on it, because there is nothing yet to count.
  • No learner stories. When there are, they will be about real named people who gave written permission, and any one of them can change their mind and have it taken down.
  • No board or advisors listed, because there is nobody I can list honestly today.
  • No online donations. Sponsorships get arranged by talking with me directly, and I make no claims about what your support does or does not do on your taxes.
  • The certificate of completion is in development. It is not an accredited credential, and I will never call it one.

I would rather you read that list and trust the rest of the site than read a highlight reel and find out later.

Three ways to be useful this month

  1. Join the newsletter. It costs nothing and it tells you when something real happens.
  2. Offer a room. A library meeting room, a church fellowship hall, a community center, a back office with a projector. Rooms turn plans into dates.
  3. Offer a few hours. Mentoring somebody who is three weeks into learning this stuff is not a big commitment, and it is the difference between finishing and quitting.

If you are a nonprofit with a stretched-thin team, or a business wondering whether somebody trained this way could do real work for you, get in touch and ask me directly. I will tell you what is available today rather than what I hope will be available later.
